HCL Jigsaw is India’s Premier Critical Reasoning Platform for grades 6 to 9, which aims to build a community of young logical thinkers and problem solvers. There are two rounds:
Round 1 (Qualifiers) | Apr 03 – July 31 , 2023 : Olympiad
– Students can take the test after 15 mins of registration. Test window is open till July 31, 2023
– Results of Round 1 (Qualifiers) will be announced on August 7th , 2023
Round 2 (Semi Finale) | Aug 18 – Aug 20 , 2023 : Collaboration – Project Based Learning
Round 3 (Finale) | Aug 26 – Aug 27 , 2023 : Group Jury Presentations

Students from any board or any school from any part of India can register for HCL Jigsaw as long as they are from grades 6 – 9 in academic year 2023-2024.
Relax! There is nothing much to prepare for the Critical Reasoning Olympiad. It is an application-oriented assessment program focusing on real-world problems and challenges. It will mainly focus on the critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills of the participants.

Yes, there is a registration fees of INR 200 for private schools. However, there is no fees for students from non-private schools. To enroll your school, please write to schoolenquiry@hcljigsaw.com
The student must have a stable internet connection on their Laptop/Desktop/Tablet with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox running. The system should have at least 2 GB RAM with a minimum processor configuration of Intel i3 or above operating under Windows 7 or higher.
No, the Critical Reasoning Olympiad can only be taken on a Laptop, Desktop, or Tablet.
The medium of instruction will be English (UK)

The entire assessment will take 60 minutes, including the Olympiad test which takes 45 minutes.
In case of a breakdown in internet access during the examination, you can log in again and resume from where you left once your connection is stable again.
In case your system crashes or freezes, you can re-login and resume once the system is fixed.
This is a critical step and we would advise you to be cautious when attempting the questions, any questions skipped during the test will be counted as an incorrect response with no option to go back. Be careful and confirm while submitting answers or skipping questions.
The online assessment will include Multiple Choice Questions, each attributing to the facet of critical thinking, reasoning and real-world problem-solving. The assessment is adaptive, and the final evaluation for qualifier will be based on the participant’s national percentile rank.
