HCL Jigsaw is India’s leading critical reasoning platform for students in Grades 6 to 9, designed to nurture a generation of young problem-solvers and logical thinkers through real-world challenges, collaborative learning, and progressive evaluation.

Students from any board or school across India studying in Grades 6 to 9 (academic year 2026–27) are eligible to participate in HCL Jigsaw. Registrations must be submitted through their respective schools.

Relax! There is nothing much to prepare for Problem Solving Through Project Based Learning.
You will choose 03 projects out of the provided projects. Online learning content will be provided in your login portals.
As a team, you will ideate, explore, research on the project topics to complete the assignment

No, there is a no registration fee.

The student must have a stable internet connection on their Laptop/Desktop/Tablet with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox running. The system should have at least 2 GB RAM with a minimum processor configuration of Intel i3 or above operating under Windows 7 or higher.

Yes. However, we recommend to only use Laptop, Desktop, or Tablet to take the assessment.

The medium of instruction will be English (UK)

Round 1 assessment comprises of submitting 03 projects as a team. Each project can be submitted within 07 days, once started. Last date to complete all submission is 31st Aug.

In case of a breakdown in internet access during the examination, you can log in again and resume from where you left once your connection is stable again.

In case your system crashes or freezes, you can re-login and resume once the system is fixed.

All worksheet submissions are mandatory. If any team member does not submits then the team cannot proceed to next rounds.

Round 1 is a team assessment for all 03 projects. Scoring will be an aggregate of all the worksheets submitted by all members of the team.

All participants will be provided an E-Participation certificate.

Winners and Runners will be announced and rewarded in the Finale Round as per terms and conditions

  • Total Prize purse of INR 12 lakhs for Finalists
  • Winners: 1st Group Each Grade (16 particpants)
  • Runners Up: 2nd and 3rd Group / Each Grade (32 finalists)
  • Appreciation Medals for 4th and 5th Positions.

No, the Critical Reasoning Olympiad can only be taken on a Laptop, Desktop, or Tablet.

The entire assessment will take 60 minutes, including the Olympiad test 45 minutes.

In case of a breakdown in internet access during the examination, you can log in again and resume from where you left once your connection is stable again.

This is a critical step and we would advise you to be cautious when attempting the questions, any questions skipped during the test will be counted as an incorrect response with no option to go back. Be careful and confirm while submitting answers or skipping questions.

The online assessment will include Multiple Choice Questions, each attributing to the facet of critical thinking, reasoning and real-world problem-solving. The assessment is adaptive, and the final evaluation for qualifier will be based on the participant’s national percentile rank.

On successful completion of each program milestone, you stand a chance to win the following:
