HCL Jigsaw is India’s Premier Critical Reasoning Platform for grades 6 to 9, which aims to build a community of young logical thinkers and problem solvers. There are two rounds:

Registration Duration l April 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024

Round 1 (Olympiad) | Exam Slot 1: June 15 – 16; Exam Slot 2: August 2 – 4

Round 1 Result – August 11, 2024 03:00 PM

Round 2 (Collaboration – Project Based Learning)| August 24 – 25, 2024

Round 3 (Jury Presentations) | Sept. 7 & 8, 2024

Award Ceremony | Sept. 9, 2024 04:00 PM

Students from any board or any school from any part of India can register for HCL Jigsaw as long as they are from grades 6 – 9 in academic year 2024 – 25.

Relax! There is nothing much to prepare for the Critical Reasoning Olympiad. It is an application-oriented assessment program focusing on real-world problems and challenges. It will mainly focus on the critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills of the participants.

No, there is a no registration fee.

The student must have a stable internet connection on their Laptop/Desktop/Tablet with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox running. The system should have at least 2 GB RAM with a minimum processor configuration of Intel i3 or above operating under Windows 7 or higher.

Yes. However, we recommend to only use Laptop, Desktop, or Tablet to take the assessment.

The medium of instruction will be English (UK)

If you are unable to login or need any other technical assistance, you can reach out for support at support@hcljigsaw.com

The entire assessment will take 60 minutes, including the Olympiad test which takes 45 minutes.

In case of a breakdown in internet access during the examination, you can log in again and resume from where you left once your connection is stable again.

In case your system crashes or freezes, you can re-login and resume once the system is fixed.

This is a critical step and we would advise you to be cautious when attempting the questions, any questions skipped during the test will be counted as an incorrect response with no option to go back. Be careful and confirm while submitting answers or skipping questions.

The online assessment will include Multiple Choice Questions, each attributing to the facet of critical thinking, reasoning and real-world problem-solving. The final evaluation for the qualifier will be based on the participant’s score in Round 1.

  • e-Certificate of Participation for all participants with individual assessment score.
  • Total Prize purse of INR 12 lakhs for Finalists
  • Winners: 1st Group Each Grade (12 individual winners)
  • Runners Up: 2nd and 3rd Group / Each Grade (24 finalists)
  • No Prize for 4th and 5th Positions.

No, the Critical Reasoning Olympiad can only be taken on a Laptop, Desktop, or Tablet.

On successful completion of each program milestone, you stand a chance to win the following:

  • Certificate of Distinction (top 1% in each grade)
